Take a look at our price list and figure out which products you would like to private label. Products come in a variety of sizes and packaging, which will effect both the size and orientation of the labels. Once you have a list of products you want to private label, look at our SP Container & Label Dimensions Handout to figure out what the label dimensions are for each product. When designing your label, please remember to:
- Add at least a 0.125 inch bleed for all labels
- Include the Net Weight on front label. Can also be included on the back label, but is mandatory on the front label. Net weight must be listed in both standard and metric measurements.
- List Ingredients and Guaranteed Analysis. Can be either on the front or back label, but must match product information on Price List. Ingredients in parenthesis may be omitted.
- Do not use registered trademarks or images without that company’s consent.
- Proofread all labels. Sittin Pretty will review submitted labels, but will not be held responsible for typos, spelling errors, etc. that may be overlooked.

STEP FOUR: Approve Your Proofs
IF YOU ARE USING ONE OF OUR PRIVATE LABEL TEMPLATES:
Label designing is longest part of the label making process if you are a new customer. Label designs will be submitted to the customer and any changes requested will be performed. Depending on the intricacy of the design idea requested, the label designing process can take anywhere from 1-2 days to a couple weeks (with multiple revisions) before the label is finished. If you are using one of our templates and just adding name and contact information, product will be sent out just as fast as standard orders. Final proofs will always be submitted for customer authorization or additional change requests. Once a final label is agreed upon, the order will be filled the same as standard Sittin Pretty orders. Because we will have the label design saved, your next order will be completed much more quickly.
